Safety and Machine Guarding

Together with your Health and Safety representatives we can assist in hazard identification and risk assessment.

In the hierarchy of control, we can assist in isolation and engineering control by

• Installing isolation points so machine can be entered without fear of it starting
• Monitoring status of guarding and interlocking all access points to eliminate starting of the machine while operator is in the protected area
• Installation of light curtains with muting sensors to allow product to go down conveyor belts while shutting belts off on staff entering the machine

As well as implementing measures recommended by the OHS team, we also work closely with experts that can come in and give a recommendation of what safety features to implement to compliment you existing systems.
